Portuguese Steering Group – virtual meeting on ZOOM

The 4th Portuguese Steering Group meeting took place on the 22nd of April to follow up on progress.  One of the key points discussed was about the next steps in the creation of a farm incubator in the Alentejo region and most importantly reflections on potential entities with the capacity to manage such a pilot structure in Portugal. The next discussion circles’ organisation was also closely examined including the types of stakeholders that need to be involved to enable meaningful dialogue on the selected topics. The decision on the 2019 award winner was disclosed and announcement will follow shortly in the media, and will be made publicly during the next discussion circle as soon as the current public health situation allows. A preliminary analysis of case studies was also presented including a typology of entry and business models and next steps with data analysis.
